Job Description

You will join the development team in charge of hardware development for vision applications including cameras, embedded vision systems, video transport solutions and custom specific solutions. You will also contribute to the development of IP Cores for vision applications.

This position includes specifications, development, documentation and maintenance of IP Cores, support activity, on-site training to customers. In addition, they expect verification of IP Cores, through functional testing and simulation, in a professional environment.

You will also develop applications in FPGA (VHDL) and in CPU (ANSI C) based on our customers and third party IP Cores, for reference designs and for customer specific projects. In particular, you will be in charge of development for new projects involving gigabit data transmission and high-speed imager interfaces (for example MIPI CSI/2).

A close relation with the international sales team to provide products and support worldwide helps to improve our products.

Profile

Engineer in electronics, or equivalent.

Experience

3+ years experience in FPGA Development, in the field of image or video processing.

FPGA: VHDL for Xilinx or Intel/Altera

Tools: ModelSim, Vivado, Quartus

High-speed Busses: PCIe, MIPI CSI/2, SLVDS, AXI, CoaXPress, Gigabit Ethernet, USB3…

Programming: C, makefiles, tcl-tk

Languages: Written and spoken professional proficiency in English and German
